I. Choose a piece from the Baroque era.

• a) This could be a piece from your repertoire. (Would you want to be your own audio?)
• b) This could be a piece from an anthology. (Is audio available?)

II. Create a research-based educational podcast or video (5-7 minutes) about the piece that situates it within one or more potential contexts: musical, socio-cultural, genre, performance practice, etc.

Develop the project via ordered, stepwise procedures that include the following:

• bibliography (minimum 4 substantive sources + score)
• evaluative summaries of sources (a step sometimes described as “annotation,” which I find too generic)
• paper draft (includes citations)
• script developed from paper + feedback (includes citations)
• execution of project
